Preparation
For the manufacture of your e-liquid DIY you will need a nicotine-free neutral base, one or more nicotine boosters and concentrated aroma. The amount of flavour will vary slightly depending on the LV level of your base. The ideal mixture is:
- 13% concentrate in a 70/30 PG/VG base
- 15% concentrate in a 50/50 PG/VG base
- 20% concentrate in a 100% LV base
You will not be able to make a precise dosage by pouring aroma directly into your base bottle. You will need an empty bottle and define how much e-liquid you want to get.
Maturation
Maturation (or "steep time") is a very important step, it is the time necessary for your mixture to deliver all its aromatic flavors. For an optimal result, the flask must be stirred well once the preparation is complete and from time to time during the steeping period to spread the aroma well. Depending on the type of aromas the maturation time will be more or less long:
- Complex flavours (several flavours): 7 days minimum
- Gourmet flavours: 7 days minimum
- Fruity or mono-flavoured flavours: 48h minimum

- Your liquid tastes too good: add base
- Your liquid is underdosed in flavour: add a few mL of flavour
